Either for a guided tour or for a shuttle service from your coach to the City, the Castle, the Museum or a Restaurant, the "Petit Train" will take your group.  When you book, we fix an appointment to pick up the group at the coach when arriving at Gruyeres and then, after the visit, the "Petit Train" will bring back the group also at the time requested.

Do you know that before the "Petit Train" was operating a large number of Seniors never managed to reach the Castle by themselves because of the steep path.

Tour  :

A  35   minutes comfortable visit ,  through  the magic pedestrian City,  with  comments  in  several  languages. This all , without any effort , even if  heavy gradients.

Route : Starts by climbing to Gruyeres and crossing  the centre of the pedestrian City at walking speed . Then the "Little Train"  goes down  to the old  Roman Church  Saint-Théodule , out of the 12^th century , turns in front of the church around  the old Lime and next loops back to the centre of the City . Turns  around the Calvary to finally climb towards the Castle with 18 %  gradient.  Crossing  the tunnel ( Passage Saint Germain ) . Arrival and turning back around on the small park  in opposite of the formerly regional school.  First stop is at this place , just above the entry of the Museum  Giger and  at less than 30 meters from the Castle’s entrance.  The visitors for the  Castle or the Museum may step out the "Petit Train" there and allow themselves plenty of time for their visit.

Visitors may catch the Train every 35 minutes  at this same place or at the second stop near the Fountain in the Centre of the City, in order to complete  the circuit. Then the "Petit Train" is driving downwards to " La Maison du Gruyere" ( cheese factory ) and so will mark its third stop  in front of the entrance for those who want to visit.
